How do I become a member of WAMIE?
Becoming a member is easy! Just click the button below or go to the “Join Us” page. To become a member you must attend at least one meeting or event per semester and subscribe to the mailing list. You can retain membership by attending at least one meeting or event per semester.
How often does WAMIE meet?
WAMIE meets on a biweekly basis. Meetings are normally held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in Wells Hall. Some events are held at other locations on campus. Check out our schedule for more information.
Do I need to be an economics major to join?
Nope! All MSU students are welcome to join and no economics background is required.
Do I have to be a woman or minority to join?
Nope! All MSU students are welcome to join, regardless of gender or race. You just have to support our mission to encourage the representation of women, minorities, and other marginalized groups, in the field of economics; discuss accomplishments and opportunities in the field of economics; and promote ongoing efforts for inclusion.
