Panel Events and Workshops

Every year we host panels and workshops with alumni and potential employers. Some previous panels included MSU economics alumni Peg Koenigs, Alejandra Loaizo Delgado, and Kelly Wilcox and economics students who went on to attend graduate school. We’ve worked with Northwestern Mutual to discuss employment opportunities, which included their internship program, and Mercer for a resume workshop and interview tips and tricks. We’ve even partnered with MSU’s own Career Services Network!

WILD Conference

In past years, we’ve attended the Women’s Initiative for Leadership Development Conference to help support our members reach their full potential. The conference hosts successful women, many of whom are women of color, who lead workshops and share their experiences in the field. Their stories have inspired and supported our members. The diverse backgrounds and careers of the speakers show us that there is a place for us in the professional world. The conference also facilitates a comfortable space to network with refreshments and snacks provided.
